The newest most innovative, effective technology in the preservation/conservation/archival community is now available from Hollinger Metal Edge. Together with Engineered Materials Company and Bell Labs innovation, we have developed a new generation in protection for archival materials. We have integrated Intercept with our high quality archival board resulting in an archival board that simply gives better protection. Intercept technology is available in our acid/lignin-free archival solid fiberboard, archival corrugated board and museum board.

The Intercept Technology was developed by Bell Labs and has shown it's effective ability to not only be a material that does not harm or contaminate what it protects, but also has the unique ability to react with and permanently neutralize corrosive gases, reactive gases and pollutants in the air, in storage areas and cabinets. Intercept can react with trace amounts of reactive gases, providing the best in protection to sensitive collections. Intercept provides the ability to not only keep Sulfur, Chlorine, Ozone, Nitrous gases, Formaldehyde and Acetic acid gases from the items being protected but also cleanses the trapped air around the product, as well as the pollutants that may be slowly released from the items themselves. Our Intercept board is free of any volatile chemicals.
