Organize and store loose paper collections, books, pamphlets, loose periodicals, photographic materials, etc. in the most frequently used upright box in the preservation field.
Loose, fragile or brittle papers and important documents should be placed in preservation quality file folders (see page 25) before placement in document boxes for added protection. Boxes are designed for storage on standard library shelves, 5 wide boxes have pull strings for easy shelf removal. Metal handles also available upon request. Document support spacers (not included) keep documents from slipping or warping in partially filled cases .
Manufactured from acid/lignin-free 60 point board with a pH of 8.5 and buffered with 3% calcium carbonate. Metal edged for added strength. Available in blue-grey, light grey, or tan exterior board.
Preservation file folders are not included with Document Storage Cases.
Pull Strings are standard for 5 wide cases, handles available on request at no extra cost.
