Book & Document Heat Set Tissue

Filmoplast® R heat set tissue has been specifically designed to repair and preserve brittle books & documents.

Used in wide rolls for laminating brittle papers or in narrow width rolls for localized mending. An ultra thin technical, buffered (pH 8.5) Japanese mulberry paper coated with a heat activated acid and solvent free acrylic co-polymer adhesive. Filmoplast® R can be applied by tacking iron or a heat press. The adhesive can be removed by re-heating and/or the use of acetone.
