Manufactured with the same materials and standards of craftsmanship as the microfilm roll cabinets, vertical or lateral microfiche file cabinets provide maximum filing density per square foot of floor space. Fiche are filed front-to-rear in smooth plastic control plates that keep fiche from slipping out of order and allow you to form a working V at any point in all rows. Each drawer comes with 27 standard plates, however, mechanical compressors may be substituted at no extra charge. The UF-9 updatable cabinet for active files features an interior drawer height of 5 1/4 to accommodate taller microforms. Available in the same finishes as the roll film cabinets.
