Artifact Box

These artifact boxes provide a master box that accomdate 4 sizes of trays which can be arranged in the master box in a large variety of configurations to fit the specific needs of a given collection.

Boxes are manufactured from rigid 4 mil, chemically inert corrugated polypropylene which is water resistant and will not split or crack or are manufactured from sturdy 60 pt. tan, acid/lignin-free, buffered (pH 8.5) board.

Master Box dimensions: 20 Long x 20 Wide x 3 1/4 in. High

The Insert Trays can be arranged in the master box in a large variety of configurations to fit the specific needs of a given collection. 

Insert Tray dimensions:

9 3/4 x 9 3/4 x 3 in. - Fits 4 in Master Box

9 3/4 x 4 3/4 x 3 in. - Fits 8 in Master Box

4 3/4 x 4 3/4 x 3 in. - Fits 16 in Master Box

4 3/4 x 2 1/4 x 3 in. - Fits 32 in Master Box

3 1/8 x 3 1/8 x 3 in. - Fits 36 in Master Box

Trays are manufactured from light grey (not shown) or tan acid/lignin-free 60 point board with a pH of 8.5 and buffered with 3% calcium carbonate. Metal edged for added strength.
