Herbarium Storage Cases

Herbarium specimens will last for many years if properly stored and cared for. These Herbarium Cases are designed for convenient accessibility to herbarium samples. The case is composed of an outer and inner framework of steel channels to provide rigidity and strength. The bottom plate construction is airtight with box channels spot welded on inside and arc welded to vertical reinforcing channels. Doors are constructed with 2 built in fumigant pockets on each door. Door opening is sealed with a continuous air filled silicone gasket that is held in place mechanically. Doors are fitted with a chrome plated steel handle with the three point locking on the right hand side. For easy identifcation, a 3 7/8 in. x 5 9/16 in. label holder is located in the upper portion of doors. Surfaces are finished with non-reactive solvent-free powder coating that ensures there is no out-gassing.Tweleve color choices available to choose from. Please specify color choice when ordering.
